Moyes to name Hammers squad by Wednesday
West Ham have until 2pm on to name its 25-man Premier League squad.
It will be interesting to see whether a certain Jesse Lingard has been included at this stage but don’t read too much into things if has not been so long as just 24 are named by then.
The Hammers can leave the 25th spot unfilled as free signings are allowed to join clubs at any stage of the campaign if they had been released by their previous club before the end of the transfer window.
So as long as we have a spare squad place available, he can be signed at any time and by naming a 24 strong squad on Wednesday that may be what’s on the manager’s mind.
Any other changes to the squad list can only happen with the approval of the Premier League board, as per the Premier League handbook regulations.
