Hammers fan to play at London Stadium today

The Saracens will play the Harlequins at the London Stadium this afternoon in the first AVIVA Premiership game to be played at the venue. West Ham fan Jackson Wray who plays back row for the Sarries, has been with the club since a young teenager, developing from a promising youngster to a top class Premiership player will be playing later today.

“It’s good to be able to play there and I’m really looking forward to it,” said the 27-year old Rugby player.

I’ve been there a few times to watch the football and it’s a great stadium. I’ve seen the stadium at it’s best. When we (West Ham) played Leicester in October the crowd were unbelievable, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. I’ve seen it at its loudest and it really does generate a noise. I hope we get that kind of noise this weekend and hopefully we can go there and celebrate a win in the home changing room for once!”
