Hammers fan totally nails ghastly Grealish

Jack Grealish’s obvious and unashamed cheating during the game on Monday night has brought a unanimous chorus of disapproval from Hammers fans.

His regular diving around the penalty area even saw coach Kevin Nolan objecting to his behaviour in a row picked up on TV.

Later Villains boss Dean Smith attempted to play the victim on behalf of his skipper declaring “One of their members of staff was calling Jack a diver and a cheat. I’m not having that. David Moyes said he’d deal with it.”

He may not be having it but ghastly Grealish’s game is constantly littered with such incidents and Hammers fans were universal in agreeing that the player is a downright cheat whether Smith likes it or not. Our picture above shows his epic dive in a game against Crystal Palace – last night was hardly an isolated incident in his warped footballing world,

Hundreds of comments hot the forum and ClaretandHugh Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/

None summed up the attitude of fair-minded football fans better than that of FB member Steve Paxman who declared: “WE see it , WE decry it , but it’s only the players who will stop it .

If they can bend a knee before every game they can stand up for decency and integrity during one That’s if they have the guts and a club that supports them .

Grealish’s behaviour is everything that is wrong with the modern game but while you have TV pundits not calling it out for what it is and actually applauding it , this rotten attitude will continue to ruin the game we love.”

  1. There are a number of divers in the game again. Grealish is bad but so is Mo Salah.

  2. I’ve got 2 grandsons. 1 of 10 and 1 going on 7. Both playing the game as kids do. If one of them behaved like Grealish I’d be ashamed, and having a word with them. Call it what it is, cheating!!

  3. Happy to spend ages examining if a toe nail or arm pit is offside but won’t use video evidence to stamp out this nonsense. 1 match automatic ban for every offense will soon put a stop to it.

  4. Agree with Tangent, ban them for diving and theatrics and improve the quality of refereeing so that honest players get free kicks for fouls when they don’t dive. He should be called Jack Squealish for the noises he makes as he goes down, then once a free kick is awarded he gets up and is smiling…

  5. The players will eventually sort Grealish out. Rotating fouls will put him on the sidelines, initially for a short time, eventually permanently. He can then join louts like John Terry, watching on a game that has left their kind behind.

  6. It’s got nothing to with pundits, players do not care what they say about it.

It’s got everything to do with not being punished for doing it !

Until players are given bans after the match for this behaviour, players like grealish will continue to do it.

Note the crystal palace incident he recieved no punishment after despite var overturning the penalty decision.

  7. West Ham were at home and in there kit so why show a photo which wasn’t the incident.
I do agree that Grealish did collapse to the floor to get someone booked so show that

  8. I spoke to a pro and asked him was he embarrassed about his team mate Drogba diving and he stated it was part of the game and it got them results
