Hammers fitness update ahead of Wolves

The Hammers will head for the match against Wolves on Wednesday looking in pretty good nick after the bruising victory over Chelsea yesterday afternoon.

One or two players have some bumps, bruises and strains but we have had nothing serious reported to us during our after match check with or insiders.

Mark Noble – whose expletive-filled team talk was a key factor in yesterday’s victory over Chelsea according to Declan Rice – may not play the full 90 minutes given age and it being the second game in five days.

But he is fully fit along with the rest of he squad as the Hammers look to follow up and make it six points from the two games against a Wolves sideĀ  held to 1-1 draw by Sheffield United at Molineux this afternoon.

It took them just over the hour to equalise against the Blades who took the lead after two minutes and saw them hold on to sixth place.

  1. What you mean given age and number of games? What about Moutinhio at 33 and playing European football as well

  2. Moutinho doesn’t run all over the pitch like a kid in a playground following the ball and expending unnecessary energy. Noble does

  3. Excuse me Billy Bonds was 40 and still putting in a shift and more!!

  4. Now and then, all the players need to up their game 100%.
Noble has been on the missing like the rest of the team, let’s see what happens V Wolves.

  5. Rumours from Ex are that Antonio is a doubt.
