Glenn Thompson from IT firm ATOS claims West Ham made a request to be at home at the penultimate weekend rather than the last weekend of their final season at the Boleyn Ground.
Glenn, responsible for calculating Premier League fixtures for the IT firm told Andy Goldstein on TalkSport radio:
” I believe, West Ham requested to be home on the penultimate weekend.”
However, David Gold seems to be disputing Mr Thompson saying “I find it very odd that anyone on this planet would believe that West Ham would ASK to be away for last game. dg”

Needs to be clarified and soon lots of angry pepes out there
Haha most of them on Wetpants,it’s replaced JFK as no.1 conspiracy theory.
They either requested it or they didn’t it’s of no importance, same as whether it’s a national event or not,the last game is coming at UP next May and that sadly or happily depending on points of view is that. All that matters is we the fans and the players give the old place a proper send off.
Sounds dodgy to me. I Wonder if he’s got Sepp Blatter on speed dial.
Lol,well it is what it is.We play Swansea penultimate game of the seasonEnd of.Someone somewhere is being less than truthful though 😀
Looking odds on that our first game of the 2016/17 season with our New Olympic Stadium will be Away . Struth , and here’s me thinking the fixture list couldn’t be tampered with .
Would have been the perfect send – off playing our last game at Home , but there you go .
Just hope we can run out onto our new turf on a high .
Come on you Hammers .
Home or away Slav will put out a good team Kev so keep your new found faith strong
Kevin how did you get out this time of day,
Good to hear from you,I expect Mr Amstrad had something to do with the fixtures just so he could thumb his nose at us,
