Hammers’ Former Manager | ‘Come And Get Me’!

Another interesting development – in view of what has been written before with head coaches or managers claiming to be shortlisted as lining up ready to replace Julen Lopetegui: Another former West Ham Manager  speaking on TalkSPORT issued a thinly veiled ‘come and get me’ offer to David Sullivan.

As for the repercussions, ramifications and rights or wrongs of Alan Pardew as the new West Ham Coach – well. I’d need time to reflect on that.

One play-off final lost, one play-off final won and an FA Cup losing medal in his three seasons certainly made Pards’ reign at Upton Park eventful !

Speaking live on talksport today and discussing the Lopetegui situation, Pardew made his own position very clear:’ I’d happily go back”.

Has the world of coaching moved on since his tenure? Yes. Does he still have something to offer over the chaotic football of Julen Lopetegui? Yes. Does that make him the ideal choice? No.

Hopefully West Ham have now outgrown Pardew’s methodology and can aim a little higher in terms of credentials. But, ‘Never Say Never ‘- what an awesome caretaker manager he’d be if Lopetegui repeats his ‘Wolves Walk Out’.

Funny old game football, you just never know what’s around the corner.

All I can say Somerville will come through, oo such controversy around paqweta he has togo don’t know why noble retired fulkrug I ain’t see much of and soucek never rated. Daggers have a young player called Perez we should get him he has both team and individual responsibility. Actually there’s a few at daggers we should get and a few at redbridge some accomplishe’d players in terms of composure at redbrige really quality. Let’s be cautiously with east London they have over the years produced the best and long they will continue.

Westham can’t afford the 6 million contract pay off to Lopetegui because it will violate PSR , consequently Lopetegui is likely to remain at Westham until the summer when the club enters a new financial year with more funds available . Personally I would take a points deduction to get rid of Lopetegui now and move on .

Lopetegui and Pearl Producer both need to go. The signings he’s made are absolutely shocking and lets not mention the price, Alvarez, Fulkrug,Soucek would struggle to beat a snail in a race, Todibo a complete waste of money, Paquetas worth is nearer £8.5,k then £85 million, Summerville is like a little boy playing against monsters and has no strength to hold the ball up or go past players, from top to bottom our players are average, I’ve given my season ticket back, not watching this ******** until Sullivan and co are gone.

If and when we see the departure of Lopetegui who will be choosing the new Manager?
Let’s hope it’s not solely Sullivan?

  • Kenny Irons says:

Leave off, for crying out loud is this a wind up ?
I know it’s silly season on the new manager front but if this is what we’ve become why don’t we just turn the light out and call it a day.
    Curbishley is available as well…..

    No , just no

Pardew hasn’t managed a Premiership side for quite a while.

I’m not convinced all the current problems are just down to the manager, and I’m not convinced replacing him will fix them. Maybe the right replacement could paper over a few cracks. Is that enough? Maybe if things continue to spiral it will be.

There’s no issue of available managers, there’s a surprising number of them available. The issue is in biting the bullet and getting on with it. I really do not see any improvements while I do see a deterioration in that the situation is turning sour. It looks very much like an inevitability to me in which case grasping the nettle now is better than later. I cannot get away from the fact that finishing only two places higher pays for severences. Is Sullivan fiddling while Rome burns…
