Hammers game in hand gets a date

By Hughie Southon
West Ham will be playing their game in hand on Wednesday May 3 against – wait for it – Manchester City away – whilst Pep Guardiola’s high fliers meet fellow relegation strugglers Leeds United on Sunday May 7.
Kick off is at 8pm and the match will be shown on Sky Sports.
Both games have been delayed by the progress City have made in the FA Cup and are of course about as tough as it gets.
We also have to meet  Arsenal – not exactly a pushover, Liverpool, and the game against Manchester United now follow  the clash with City.
Hopefully we shall start to see a real revival against Saints after the international break at the London Stadium and that will be followed by a home game against Newcastle United and an away fixture at Fulham.
Things look very tough indeed at this moment but the other relegation threatened teams have poorish run-ins so as is always the case with us lot, hope springs eternal.
