Hammers get big three Leeds boost

Mikey set to return

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that he will be without three important p;layers for the Hammers visit tomorrow.

It’s understood that sometimes managers play smoke and mirrors but that’s not Bielsa’s stock in trade and it appears the Irons will be boosted by the absence of a Leeds big three.

The team will be without the international trio of Diego Llorente, Robin Kocj and Patrick Bamford whilst others could be on the missing list.

The team was without Bamford and Luke Ayling for the midweek Carabao Cup trip to Fulham, the pair having picked up ankle and knee issues respectively at Newcastle United last Friday night.

Raphinha also came off with a suspected hip problem at St James’ Park and he too did not feature in the cup.

The Argentine already had the suspended Pascal Struijk and already injured Koch and Llorente unavailable, along with Jack Harrison who tested positive for Covid-19.

“Llorente, Koch and Bamford won’t be available,” said Bielsa admitting he couldn’t be definite about the others.

The Hammers meanwhile are in great shape and Moysie looks certain to recall Michail Antonio to the team narrowly beaten in that dramatic finish last Sunday although issa Diop is pushing hard for a recall.
Likely  team: Fabianski; Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice, Bowen, Benrahma, Fornals, Antonio.
CandH prediction 0-2
