Hammers get critical Bowen clause removed

|

West Ham have will agree a deal with Jarrod Bowen which will see claims by his agents for a release clause to be included dropped!

That was the big problem facing the club who considered the figure far too low at around £50 million which prompted one insider to say it was barely worth him signing a new deal on that basis.

However, as a result the club has now offered the No 20 a deal which could see him become the club’s highest earner – a massive increase of the £60k a week he is thought to have agreed when joining.

This time around the figure is likely to be closer to £200k thus removing any thoughts of a release clause of any kind.

As Claret and Hugh revealed last night the player still has to put pen to paper on the deal despite reports elsewhere that it has already been done.
