Hammers get home draw in Carabao 4th round

West Ham have been drawn at home to meet Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after beating Lincoln City this evening.

It means of course that Declan Rice may be returning to the London Stadium as we bid to move on and win our second trophy in successive years after lifting the Conference trophy last term.

The Hammers earned their place in the fourth round via a goal from Tomas Soucek from a Said Benrahma corner but were made to scrap all the way by a lively City side.

They were the 11th team out of the hat and the game probably represents the most anticipated on the round although Man United v Newcastle will probably get top billing.

Full last-16 draw

  • Mansfield Town v Port Vale
  • Ipswich Town v Fulham
  • Manchester United v Newcastle United
  • Bournemouth v Liverpool
  • Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers
  • West Ham United v Arsenal
  • Everton v Burnley
  • Exeter City v Middlesbrough

  1. The Declan Rice Derby!! Thankfully it’s at home, where I fancy us the beat them with or without Dec in their midfield. Bring it on……..
