Hammers get jabbed!

West Ham took the chance to get jabbed at the weekend!

The Hammers were meant to be playing Norwich on Saturday but the game was postponed due to a spike in COVID cases.

Instead of playing, boss David Moyes told his players to report to the London Stadium in order to get vaccinated, per The London Evening Standard.

The players are said to have reported for training on Saturday, with the Hammers having set up a hub for vaccinations at the training ground.

Some players received their booster jabs, while others had their first and second doses.

It may prove vital to have a squad filled with vaccinated players as the season continues, particularly after a spate of positive cases and postponements within the Premier League.

The Hammers will be hoping to be in action in midweek against Spurs in the Carabao Cup; Tottenham played on Sunday against Liverpool, drawing 2-2 with Jurgen Klopp’s men.

  1. Well done moysie. Players can’t complain about health and safety if they are one of the great unjabbed.
