Veteran Swansea midfielder Leon Britton has warned the Irons that a relegation scrap holds no fears for the Welsh outfit.
After rallying to finish 15th and 12th in the last two seasons the weekend rivals are now in 18th place despite some decent results ahead of the 4-1 defeat at Brighton last weekend.
But the 35 year old – who joined the club from West Ham 15 years ago – remains unfazed ahead of the clash this weekend saying: “I do think the experience helps if I am being honest.
“The last couple of years have been tough but now we are in a situation we have been in before and we have got out of it.
“We know what it takes and what we have got to do. We have to call on that experience and use it in difficult periods.”
It’s a relegation 6 pointer . Both teams should come out scrapping for every ball . A lot depends on which teams turn up . West Ham and Swansea have both been the victims
Of recent 4 – 1 thrashing’s . ( FA Cup form won’t matter ) . It’s going to be a ding dong game and yellow cards will probably be rife , maybe even a few reds . This is the biggest Must Win game of West Hams season to date . Loseing is not an option . So hopefully the right team steps off the Bus and up to the plate . If you think the LS is bad now , then imagine it in the Championship . Doesn’t bare thinking about . So , COYHAMMERS and get us up the table . One point will not be enough to ease the situation . Playing this game away is probably better than playing at home ,,, sorry to say .
I agree we are more than capable of seeing this lot off, depends if they fancy it or not, cold afternoon in Welsh Wales……..
The problem is that we need to fancy it .. lost to too many teams around us . Its time to show our Teeth ?? .
