Hammers happy with Ravel progress!

Ravel 2

On-loan Hammer Ravel Morrison grabbed two more match-winning goals for Queens Park Rangers against Yeovil yesterday as the rehabilitation of our midfielder continued.

That saw him make it four goals from two games and sources at West Ham could hardly be more delighted.

Morrison is very much a confidence player and the decision to put him out on loan was as much to do with that as anything else.

Sam Allardyce agreed the loan at a time when he believed he had other players more suited to a relegation struggle and throughout February his judgement proved correct.

Now with Ravel’s confidence soaring, top sources at the Boleyn believe he  could come back totally rejuvenated and hopefully ready to knuckle down to life at the Hammers.

An Upton Park source said: “Right at this moment Rav is exactly where he needs to be and we are delighted with his progress.

“The plan was always to give him every chance to do that . We want to see him back here a top player in every area of his game and that’s a confidence thing which he’s obviously getting over there in the  Championship.

“We’d like him to agree a long term deal at the club and have always said his future remains very much in ours and his own hands.”
