Hammers hatch OS ‘atmosphere’ plan

By Rob Shepherd
West Ham are considering the option of playing all their PL matches under the roof at the Olympic stadium.
The new roof which covers every seat of the revamped venue will be ready in time for the matches it will host at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Apart from protecting pitch and fans from adverse weather conditions  the roof has also been designed to approve acoustics at the 54,000 capacity stadium.
It’s believed the Hammers hierarchy feel having the roof closed for games whatever the conditions will enhance the atmosphere for games.
Such a move would be subject to PL and FA approval.
