West Ham have had a 40 million Euro bid (£31m) for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette rejected by the Ligue 1 side, Sky Sports sources claim this evening backing a claim made by the Sun earlier today.
The news has still been confirmed the Chairman’s 16-year-old son Jack Sullivan saying “Sadly this one is true”
West Ham had a previous initial bid of 30 million Euros for Lacazette (about £23.5m) turned down by Leon.
Lacazette has been playing for Lyon since he was 13. The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals this season and 92 goals in 229 games in his overall Lyon career.
