West Ham have had a 40 million Euro bid (£31m) for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette rejected by the Ligue 1 side, Sky Sports sources claim this evening backing a claim made by the Sun earlier today.
The news has still been confirmed the Chairman’s 16-year-old son Jack Sullivan saying “Sadly this one is true”
West Ham had a previous initial bid of 30 million Euros for Lacazette (about £23.5m) turned down by Leon.
Lacazette has been playing for Lyon since he was 13. The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals this season and 92 goals in 229 games in his overall Lyon career.

No need to worry there are plenty of strikers that we can get
He has vanished hasn’t he.I ain’t seen it on the OS.Mind you I dont go on it much,i might have missed his part.It always makes me laugh that fans get so stressed about Jack,Sully & the other things that get said.Maybe they all need to go to a spa together & have a pampering weekend to relax themselves ready for the summer gossip 🙂
Naughty boy Jack for tweeting that, you know it only gets some of our fans having a breakdown!
Transfer windows come round & as per the whining starts about how we conduct our business in the media.Zzzzzzzz
How long until the first groans about The Boleyn Insider or has he vanished?
