West Ham’s victory over Man United marked their fifth win in seven top-flight games, but their sole defeat in this sequence occurred in a London derby away from home, suffering a 5-0 demolition by Fulham.
Notably, West Ham convincingly beat Arsenal 3-1 in November’s EFL Cup fourth-round tie, although Arteta’s side had won by the same scoreline on Boxing Day last year.
