Hammers have big worries

The Hammers have big worries over four first teamers  for tomorrow’s (Sun) clash against Palace. Jarrod Bowen,  Mohammed Kudus. Edson Alvarez and Vladimir Coufal remain uncertain starters with of course Michail Antonio known to be side lined. We understand that Bowen has a decent chance of being available but whether the others will be clear of  virus that has affected the squad is uncertain writes Hughie Southon.

An insider explained that both Kudus and Alvarez had been particularly sick but fingers remained firmly crossed that they will make it. International breaks, long distance travel and visiting different countries all have an effect on players’ well being and the uncertainty of them remaining clear of sickness.

Coufal should be dropped and Dan Chesters given the chance to start for West Ham

Hammers have big worries

David Moyes explained in his presser for the Palace game that he has one of two down with injury but should they all be unavailable it will present the boss with a real selection headache.

Ben Johnson played in the right back position on Thursday and did ok in a generally poor performance but up front, without the likes of Kudus and Bowen, the team is desperately short of power. At this stage it’s impossible to suggest a team but the likes of Divin Mubama and Pablo Fornals will be standing by.
