West Ham could be about to leap into action with not one, but potentially two deals looking possible as Mohammed Kudus‘ departure looks increasingly on the cards. Having changed his agent to facilitate his exit, the Ghanaian is looking to one of West Ham’s London rivals to rescue him from his Claret and Blue adventure. Both Arsenal and Chelsea look to be on the point of bidding, having had ‘exploratory discussions’ with Kudus himself.
West Ham already have their potential Mohammed Kudus replacement lined up, according to Sports Journalist Sébastien Vidal, who has taken to his twitter / x page to point out the Hammers’ likely target.
Juventus’ Nicolás González is lined up and ready to move, according to the journalist – and was covered by Claret and Hugh just a few days ago as ‘one to watch next week‘ and linked in with the ‘Nayef Aguerd to Juventus’ story. Could be one blockbuster day if those two deals come off – killing about three birds with one stone but let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet: Two out, one in and a hat load of cash would definitely be something to write home about. We’d all be rethinking our opinion on the Hammers’ window then, I suspect.
Surely the time to decide whether the club has had a good, bad or indifferent transfer window is when we have seen the results of it on the pitch., I, and I hope thousands more, will not be dancing in the streets simply because we are throwing cash around and welcoming new players into the club. We have seen all that sort of nonsense before. Only last season the press were trumpeting that West Ham had “won” the transfer window. All I can say is if we “won” last years’s window I would hate to see what the results would have been had we lost it.
Wish we hadn’t got rid of Timmy Steidten! Or at least had someone in charge who actually knows how to run a football club! You need to players in every position regardless of how many competitions you’re playing in, fed up of this small squad nonsense. Steidten knew what we needed and we didn’t give him the time to implement his “5 year plan”
Rather Mathias Soule than this donny, rather get a 22 year old no one’s ever heard of than a 27 year old no one’s ever heard of 😂
Also really hope we don’t sell Kudus to Arsenal or Chelsea 🙁 and if we do we should say “pay his release clause or get lost”
I love reading West Ham news but honestly get fed up with we’re trying to sign this or that player, I’d rather it be radio silence & then boom we’ve signed XYZ player. I’m old enough to remember the signing of Phil Parkes, nobody knew until the deal was done & don’t say it’s a different time/environment now as you can still do deals quietly as other clubs have shown ⚒⚒⚒
I remember that Terry the first place we saw it was in the evening standard and a world record price for a keeper at the time.
I’m not confident in the board signing who Pottwr needs . I’m not even convinced by the PSR claims so only time will tell . Hope I’m wrong but the transfer window looks Grimm at this moment in time.
All conjecture Martin …… but 🤞
‘but’. Exactly the comment made when the Kilman transfer at FORTY million was first mentioned on Claret and Hugh last summer!
Martin, time will tell but I’m probably not the only one who’s never heard of him it would have been helpful to add his age nationality and some background information! Guess we’ll have to do it ourselves now!
..or wait ’till tomorrow!
