Hammers have two bids knocked back

West Ham have reportedly had bids for Alfie Mawson and Lukasz Fabianski turned down by Swansea City.

According to the usually reliable Wales Online the defender and Poland goalkeeper are expected to leave but the Swans board consider the Hammers bids below their valuation.

Mawson, 24, has two years left on his deal and is currently recovering from knee surgery  whilst the player of last season, Fabianski, has a year remaining on his deal.

And the former Arsenal keeper is believed to have told Swansea he wants to leave for a top club and is  currently away on international duty with Poland ahead of their World Cup campaign.

West Ham were reported to be ready to offer £25 million for Mawson in January, and the defender has since been called up to an England senior squad for the first time.

  1. Here we go again ! Another transfer window when West Ham, more than likely, making ridiculously low bids . When they dont manage to buy the players well hear from the board that they tried to buy players but !! Afraid ive become very synical about it all because its all so familiar. Please prove me wrong Mr. Gold and Mr Sullivam

  2. If you believe everything you read we are in for 200 different players so far. Take a deep breath and wait until something concrete happens. Then you can moan if it’s crap. COYI.

  3. Calm down , holmdene1 . It’s perfectly normal & natural to try and buy for the lowest price possible . That’s how business works . If want to get a purchase over the line at the price that suits you , you must work in increments untill a deal is agreed upon . If that means West Ham have learnt some lessons all well and good . We shall know the outcome of the summer window all in good time I’m sure . Speculation is rife and overcooked as usual but it does look as if with Pellegrini we should end up with a decent squad .

  4. I agree holmdene it’s always the same and what will happen is it will **** other clubs off like the last 2 windows and then they won’t do business with us..they are a joke and nothing has changed for the min ..it’s ok trying to save a bit of money but when the offer 15 mil for a player with a 35 but out it just insults them ..it’s getting worrying already with lanzi out and Sullivan doing the same old ****…fu!!!!!!!my ridiculous
