Hammers hero ‘Bish’ applauds spot on Moysie

|

Few players can speak with more authority on the outcome of Saturday’s  result than Ian Bishop who played for both clubs and loves them both.

He is exactly the type of player too that David Moyes would thoroughly appreciate having as part of his Hammers outfit 2020 because as far as creativity goes he was top class and certainly one of my favourite Hammers ever.

Now 55, ‘Bish’ spent nine years at the Hammers before joining the Blues for a three-year stint in 1998 and was a keen spectator for the 1-1 draw at London Stadium.

A scouser, he was signed by Lou Macari and has remained a huge fan and believes David Moyes got his tactics spot on  in the management battle on Saturday had the edge in terms of tactics on Saturday.

And fair play to The Sun they gave him the opportunity of giving his thoughts on the game at the London Stadium when the Irons finally halted the run of appalling results we have suffered against them down recent years.

Writing at https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/13020188/moyes-west-ham-guardiola-man-city-ian-bishop/ he said: The managers had two sets of different tactics on Saturday.
