Hammers face London Assembly

120416 LOCOG Aerials_037The London Assembly’s Regeneration Committee will meet at 10am  this morning to examine the stadium-led regeneration schemes underway at the Olympic Park.

The Committee will hear from West Ham United and QPR on how they plan to engage with their local communities and deliver successful regeneration schemes.

The Committee will question West Ham’s Head of Community Joe Lyons standing in for  Marketing and Media Executive Director Tara Warren along side Neale Coleman, Deputy Chair, LLDC, Mark Donnelly, Chief Operating Officer, Queen’s Park Rangers and Kim Bromley-Derry, Chief Executive, London Borough of Newham.

The Committee invited Londoners living or working near the Olympic Stadium to have their say on how rebuilding or refurbishing facilities has affected them or benefited their community.
