Hammers in local pre-season friendlies

|

Hammers fans will be able to get a close up look at some of the exciting under 23 prospects in pre-season as the lads go into a couple of local opening games.

With the likes of Nathan Trott (right), Xande Silva, Nathan Holland, Ben Johnson, Conor Coventry and Dan Kemp on view it will be well worthwhile taking a look at the ‘next generation’ of young Hameers.

Trott is expected to be going out on a loan to a decent Championship club whilst Silva and Holland can’t be far away from first team squad involvement.

Sadly the team slumped into Premier League Two second division last season following a largely injury wrecked season and with the likes of Grady Diangana stepping up into first team action.

However, there is no doubting the quality in the squad who will be looking to bounce back to Division On next season with matches at Braintree Town and Dagenham and Redbridge part of the early preparations.

The official site reveals that the squad travel to  Cressing Road for the fixture with Braintree on Friday 12 July, with kick off set for 7.45pm.

The young Hammers will then make the short trip to the Chigwell Construction Stadium on Friday 26 July to play neighbours Dagenham & Redbridge at 7.30pm.

Tickets for West Ham’s friendly with Braintree will be available on the evening at the turnstiles and are priced at just £10 adults, and £5 concessions.
