West Ham are in no rush to hold new contract talks with Reece Oxford.
Speculation has been constant that Manchester City or United will make a move for the hugely talented youngster in this transfer window.
But the Hammers are happy in the knowledge they have the 17 yearold tied down to another two years and won’t consider offers for a player they have no intentions of selling .
City were reported to have made a recent offer of £15 million for the defender/midfielder but that was denied by an Iron insider to ClaretandHugh.
And a top insider confirmed to us earlier today: ” He may have been scouted but there have been no offers and we won’t be selling Reece.
“He’s on a good deal and there’s no panic. We will sit down in the notml course of events and make our offer to the lad but there’s no rush or panic.”
He might not want to play in goal ? Or c/f ?lol .
He said he wants to play in his normal roll as c/b or d/MF ,
But he is willing to adapt for the team !
