West Ham have entered into talks with Basel striker Arthur Cabral’s representatives over a potential January transfer, according to a new report from Goal.
The website claims that the club have held a meeting with Cabral’s agents over a potential move as manager David Moyes looks to sign a striker to provide back-up to Mikey Antonio.
The Basel striker has been with the club since 2020 and has been in incredible form this season, scoring 24 goals in 25 games in all competitions.
Cabral has also been linked with Barcelona but it seems that the Irons are also attempting to bring him in during the winter window.
Goal reports that the striker would cost around €15m, which equates to £12.7m, a number that the Hammers could easily reach if they really wanted to.
It remains to be seen, though, if Catalan giants Barca formalise their interest with an offer in the January transfer window.
