Hammers increasing confidence on Carvalho

CarvalhoThe Irons are becoming increasingly confident that their swoop for William Carvalho will be completed within a week.

We reported yesterday that our sources admitted a the deal still hadn’t been done but the negotiating but serious negotiations are continuing ย with Slaven Bilic telling the board to get him at any cost.

The Hammers will not go to the near 40 million euros release clause but having offered 30 million believe the deal is now set to be done.

They are making up the difference on the price with add ons made up essentially of performance-related bonuses.

Carvalho, 25, meanwhile is reported to have agreed a five year deal with us and was left out of ย Sporting Lisbon’s team which won 1-0 on Friday.

    Any cost ? Won’t go near 40 mill ? Reported 5 year deal ?
    QUE’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Nothing concrete Hugh ! Just hearsay ? Manager saying get at any cost but sully ain’t paying the going rate , who is not listening to who if they even are aware of each others intentions and desire ?
Didn’t make sense to me ?
5 year deal is it fa t or not ?
I’m hoping you know something and keeping it quiet ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have a feeling that another EPL team could beat us to the punch in signing Carvalho-hope I’m wrong, since we need some extra strength in the mid-field!

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

I said last week if sully fails this one he will need a waterproof nuclear bunker ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Surely not after yesterdays performance ! He wouldn’t would he ??๐Ÿ˜• why another week , just get him ffs!!

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

I am sure they will get him if anything yesterdays result will have upped his price, he is our Nemanja Matic / Song type player something we have sorely missed for 18 months, with Obiang alongside that provides a lot of cover then Antonio, Arnautovic, Sakho and Little Pea we have an abundance of firepower and people to press the ball higher up the pitch reducing the exposure at the back, I thought Zab played pretty well yesterday and was a definite upgrade on last season, Masuaku did some good things but then let himself down a couple of times not least for Lukaku’s headed goal even though that was a mismatch anyway, no idea why Reid wasn’t picking up Lukaku.

    Ask bilic 32 ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  • Vinny says:

We dont have a clue what is happening so why start second guessing what sullivan is or isnt doing. Its nonsensical but par for the course.

  • Lazurus. rises like a salmon says:

Yes Vinny ! I think sully should tell us more and not be so hush hush ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • JRS says:

Supposedly have upped our bid and are willing to hit their asking ยฃ36m valuation with preformance based add ons. And they are asking ยฃ90m for his teammate Martins. And when u look at how much Matic went for ยฃ50m still can’t believe Chelsea sold him to Man U and Bakayoko, Fab all for more than ยฃ36m so would really be a cheaper buy if at ยฃ31m plus add ons with most going for ยฃ50m and he is 25. And need a Proper DCM and plays CB and RB so versaitle.
. and will allow others to get fwd. I have said once Lanzini gets over his ‘Injury’ we could play a 4-3-3 with Lanzini on Left of Carvalho and would allow him to get in behind Marko and Chicarito and Kouyate on right would be excting for attack and back 3 for teams like Man U

  • Hammerman6 says:

You are all assuming Carvalho wants to come……after seeing yesterday’s performance if I were He, I would be seriously thinking again. Yes we had players out, but really only in midfield the back four, and front two you would expect to be on the team sheet. Not inspiring enough for him to be excited about.
