Hammers injury issues improving

Manuel+Lanzini+West+Ham+United+v+SV+Werder+0Pg6_ic94sIlManu Lanzini, Aaron Cresswell and Marko Arnautovic are all expected to be declared fit for the opening day visit to Manchester United next weekend.

And with Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid believed to have successfully come through a behind closed doors friendly against Spurs at Rush Green this afternoon the Hammers could be in good nick for the trip north.

Arnautovic Β came off in the game in Iceland yesterday with what Slaven Bilic believes was cramp but the midfielder and left back missed the entire 90 minutes.

Lanzini has in fact missed the last four pre-season games after sustaining a knee problem in training but neither he or Creswell are considered to be in trouble long term and will make the game.

Michaeil Antonio however will miss the game but is expected to be ready for the game at Southampton on August 19.

  1. Thank god we will have Reid and lanzini back.
    Defensive rock and creative spark!

  2. Good news for a change πŸ˜€ sakho a big plus for me πŸ˜€
Antonio back at saints , just leaves chieck πŸ˜€ and some newbies πŸ˜‰

  3. Not a lot about the closed door game is there , score , pictures and things πŸ˜‰

  4. I dunno this all sounds terrible to me – West Ham are woefully short of players and there all these injuries (and players coming back from injuries) – it all sounds desperate to me!

  5. Wonder if the Russians know anything πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  6. Thank god the world is back in its rightful order and Michael is worried again. lol

  7. Positive talk of returning from injuries but no mention of Alice Carroll and her myriad of ailments…….. (Oh in the 2 minutes that cost me to type, Alice’s wages cost the club a Β£tenner!!)

  8. Just count Carroll out. Anything better – the odd game here or there, an offer to buy him- is a bonus.

The other news is encouraging. Perhaps we are going to have a better season for injuries. Blimey is that a pig I can see up there?

  9. Any goal Carroll scores will cost you a tenner , not bad eh . But no cheering allowed when he scores one for the Hammers . Nice .
