Hammers kill off Kop, Foxes and Spurs Bowen speculation

|

West Ham have scoffed at new stories linking Jarrod Bowen with a trio of Premier League clubs.

The exciting Hammer is claimed to be very much in England manager Gareth Southgate’s thinking currently and was strongly suggested as a Liverpool target in close season.

Now the Independent claims that Jurgen Klopp remains keen along with Leicester City and Spurs despite him having four years left on his Irons deal.

He produced another top game against United creating four chances, having four shot on target and contesting more duels than any of his teammates.

He has been highly impressive since joining the club from Hull for over £20 million and it would be no surprise were he to be attracting attention.

However, a Hammers source explained there had been no inquries whatsoever adding that Liverpool have no money for major signings, Leicester buy cheap sell expensive and Spurs have limited funds as the club not in the Champions League.

He added that the player was simply not for sale along with the likes of Declan, Tomas and Vladi.

This is not West Ham of old that sold its best young up and coming players like Ferdinand, Lampard, Carrick, Cole, Johnson, Defoe. Yet the football media still seems to think it is. This is how the greedy six so called “bigger clubs” manage to maintain their status quo isn’t it and it will stay that way if the other fourteen clubs in the premier league continue to sell their best players to one of the top six.
