Hammers Ladies snap up France international

West Ham have announced the signing of Kenza Dali for the Hammers Womens’ team.

Kenza has arrived from the French Ligue One from a club Dijon FCO.

She becomes the fourth signing of the summer and will be wearing the  number 21 shirt for the Hammers.

She told whufc.com: “I am really excited to sign for West Ham United,” It feels really good and it means so much to me to be here.

“Everyone in the world knows West Ham United. West Ham is a big club and a big challenge in a tough league. I’m really happy to be here.”

Head Coach Matt Beard added: “I am delighted to welcome Kenza to West Ham. Wee have brought in a talented midfielder who will bring experience and flair to our squad.

“Kenza’s qualities are known globally in the game and I’m sure she will prove to be a resounding success for West Ham United.”

She was born in France, her hometown being Sainte-Colombe and has spent five seasons with PSG, scoring 44 goals in 123 competitions.

She has also made 22 appearances for France, making her debut in the 2015 World Cup qualifier, against Hungary.

    Just out of curiosity, how much did these transfers cost? Anyone know?

    I’m imagining £10k for the best players in the league tops.

      Yeah, it would be interesting to know. It seems in the womens game, they move around a lot so that would suggest the transfer fees aren’t huge.

      I’m guessing that the club wouldn’t really want to advertise their specific spending, but if you guys have any general information on the WSL. General transfer fees and wages, it would make an interesting piece.
