West Ham will definitely be without Felipe Anderson for tomorrow night’s clash with Leicester City who will be coming off the back of a weekend defeat by Burnley.
However, it’s hoped that Michail Antonio will be back in the squad after rejoining training last Friday.
Leicester have a couple of injuries which sees Wilfred Ndidi and Bartosz Kapustka both with knee injuries.
Brendan Rodgers having claimed Ndidi has since changed his mind apparently and claims now he will have a real chance of being involved in the squad! Smoke and mirrors time.
The Hammers line up will be interesting with David Moyes perhaps deciding to go with three at the back thus bringing in Fabian Balbuena .
Darren Randolph will again be in goal with Lukasz Fabianski expected back for the game against Livepool.
However, we could see striker Albian Ajeti handed a longer run out off the bench than the few minutes cameo against Everton when he showed more than he has done previously in the very limited time he has been offered at PL level
Antonio is set to return with a source explaining to us on the ‘phone: “He is back in training and we are being careful with him but as things stand he is expected to be in the squad.”
Our likely line-up: Randolph; Zaba, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku; Rice, Noble, Snodgrass, Fornals, Lanzini, HallerĀ
Do you think we can have Noble,Snodgrass and Zabaletta all playing 2 games in 4 days ?
Add into the mix Masuaku. Rice will be shot to bits.
I thought we would not be doing this.
Makes you think why we dispatched Powell and Coventry so quickly.
I fear a beating of Southampton standards.
I know he is crap but what has happended to Sanchez. Not to been seen near the squad in the last two games.
Any news ?
God knows who will play on Saturday
Lanzini??…He’d be lucky to make the squad in my team, Ajeti did more in 8 minutes than Lanzini did all game against Everton and I’d start him up front alongside Haller!!
For some mental unexplained reason you’d drop Cresswell? Come on..
I think he’s caught between the devil and the deep with those 2 Master. H does love Mas
No way he plays Masuaku in a back 4 (as per your current lineup). If he goes with a 3 he’ll bring Cresswell in as the left side for sure, since when we have the ball Cresswell drops out to conventional left back allowing Masuaku to go wandering.
Fair enough mate…thank you
