Hammers linked to the next Van Nistelrooy

vincentDutch striker Vicent Janssen, who has been likened to Ruud van Nistelrooy, been linked to the Hammers and becomes part of our ever increasing potential striker list.

The 21 year old enjoyed a prolific season for AZ Alkmaar, scoring 27 goals in 34 appearances for the Dutch side. He also forced his way into the Dutch national set-up, and those performances have apparently alerted a number of Premier League clubs including West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal.

He formerly played in the Feyenoord youth team, winning the national title in 2013, and for the Eerste Divisie team Almere City. In 2015 he moved to Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.

Following Holland’s 2-0 win over Austria he told Dutch outlet Fox Sports: “I want to make a step, that is clear. But there is no white smoke just now. England? We will see. Maybe something will happen in the holidays. I will take my phone with me anyway.”

  1. Have seen a bit of this kid on Skys Eredivise shows,he looks a really good player

  2. Where’s bubs today,is he already out celebrating JOB being released. His favourite player 😉

  3. Imagine the size of our squad if we signed everyone who we have been linked with so far this summer.
Good luck Joey he did a good job

  4. It’s summertime Ty, I bet bubs is on a beach of Valencia in flip-flops, sunglasses, straw hat, drinking mojito and caipirinha, surrounded by hottie chicas… JOB is the least of his troubles… lol 😀

  5. JOB did a great job when he came in, and has been a v good standby. I wish him v well….as for Hub’s Bubettes… let’s just hope they don’t turn out to be Monkeys Bellends in disguise…That would NEVER do.

  6. ****ing hell I have seen some sh1te attempts at pretending to be someone else but you stink the place out with your p1ss poor effort Bellend

    • I think as long as my aroma is not described as an ‘acquired taste’, I think everyone will be very happy, yeah?

  7. That apps playing up its gone ape ****,monkeys every where,
Get up from a siesta get ready for a beer and find its monkey world, checked for dampness and no nothing,
JOB will be missed by the medics, missed by the last standing Hippo fans but any real football person will be glad that there really is a god,
He was never good enough for the Premier, but some championship ship side might get 8 games a season out of him between injuries,
Hope he is the last in a long list of middle of the road players that come to our club,
To hot for the beach lads, shade beer, more beer bit of grub more beer, sleep and start again,
Off for a beer right now
    Toddle pip

  8. It sounds as if you have life well & truly sorted out bubs. You have the priorities all right, beer, beer & more beer with some nosebag thrown in.Lovely.
You could be in trouble though,i think the idea is that you give the mandatory pat on the back to Joey, tell him how he was a reliable squad member who never let anyone down & wish him well.I think I prefer your honesty though.I thought he was chronic as well.

  9. Looks a good player lets hope we can get him in.
