Hammers linked with another Lyon star

fe1-1500x1000West Ham are reportedly looking to bring Lyon’s Nabil Fekir to East London.

According to the Sun newspaper that is! The tabloid claims West Ham are preparing a big-money move to sign striker Fekir despite his lack of football this past season through injury.

22 year old Fekir was born in Lyon and made his way up through the ranks with his hometown club, before becoming a star with the French side last season.

Fekir, who can play up front or as an attacking midfielder, hit 15 goals in all competitions to become a French international, before a friendly appearance against Portugal back in September saw disaster strike as he tore three ligaments in his knee, ruling him out for most of the season.

That means that Fekir played just nine games last season, although he managed to score four goals on his return from injury. Reports claim that West Ham are preparing a move for Fekir, and with a fee of around £20m mentioned.

  1. We seem to be linked to every Fekir on the market 😉 so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised to be linked to this one.

  2. Lol,yes you are right Fan No32.We have been linked with so many Lyon players im beginning to think it would be cheaper if the board just went & bought Lyon Football Club,it might work out cheaper 🙂

  3. 20 million with a dodgy knee, surely not…..
