Hammers linked with Birmingham forward

Che_AdamsBirmingham City forward Che Adams is being linked with a move to West Ham by the Mirror.

The 20-year-old scored seven goals in 40 appearances for Birmingham this season following his move from Sheffield United, for a fee in the region of Β£2m.

He was playing for non-league Ilkeston before joining Sheffield United in 2014, and 15 goals in 55 games for the Blades saw him earn a move to Birmingham last summer.

Birmingham Boss HarryΒ Redknapp told the Birmingham Mail that he feels Adams has ‘real potential’ and could go to the very top of the game if he continues to work hard and improve.

β€œHe is a handful, he is a kid with real potential, I think he has got the ability to go all the way if he works at his game. He has definitely got what it takes,” said Redknapp.

  1. Ok good to see they listened to Slav with the 2 or three quality signings, that’s our marquee striker then, we are also looking at the very best non league right backs and keepers πŸ™‚

The first team can’t wait to welcome the competition for places (in the u23 team).

  2. Ok im going to believe every article in the media over the summer about players we are going to sign.
It should be a very healthy squad of 200 by the end of August πŸ˜‚

    • Hehehe why not indeed Rads it will provide more fun than our team have provide us most of the season πŸ˜‰

  3. Talking of transfers there is an article on BBC sport saying Nolito maybe interested in moving to Betis for 3.4m I doubt the transfer fee is correct but if he is available he is the perfect replacement for Payet, he is supposedly on Β£100k a week but that is the level of player we should be trying to attract, back to the days of Harry, attract highly skilled players who have had a bad season and need to get back up to the level again.

    • Yeah he is a decent player 32.I watched a fair bit of him for Celta before he went to Citeh.
We was linked with him last summer i think.
Aint had much to cheer this season agree with that.I just decieded to give the club/players a seasons benefit of doubt with all the upheaval. If it aint any better next season then i will start crying πŸ˜‚

      • Hehe Rads yeah fair enough mate, I also watched him play a fair bit for Celta he has so much skill, scores great goals and creates a lot doesn’t he, he also prefers that slot Payet used to play and we need to fill that position, I hope we do bid for him, guess we will have to wait and see πŸ˜„

        • Yeah he was really good at Celta 32.He was like a one man show in some of the games i watched.I think Luis Enrique was there at the same time as him as manager.
He banged in a load of goals as well if i remember rightly.he is a proper player imo. There is just so much attacking talent at Citeh his appearances have been restricted. He would walk in to most teams

  4. 7 in 44-how desperate are we ffs! Even dear old CC did better than 1 in 6. Thumbs down. Nolito different kettle of fishies.

  5. 7 in 40. Sorry Mr Adams.

  6. If your half a decent striker you should be getting more than 7 in 40. And that’s in the champo. Smacks of silly season again. Where do they get these ideas from. Supposed to be reporting facts not creating fiction.
