Aden Flint (2)f8West Ham has been linked Bristol City defender Aden Flint, according to reports.

The Sun reports that Aston Villa and Derby County are interesting in signing the £5m rated centre-back, who has been one of the standout performers at Ashton Gate this season.

West Bromwich Albion is also said to following developments with the 27-year-old.

With a proven track record from the last two seasons in the Championship, some believe he would be more than capable of making the step up to Premier League without too much trouble.

Bristol City would love to keep Flint at Ashton Gate, but that may not be possible given the expected levels of interest in his services.

The former Alfreton Town and Matlock Town man has played 53 times for Lee Johnson’s side this season scoring 5 goals and is valued by the club at around £5m.

In the 2014/2015 season, he scored an impressive 15 goals from 57 appearances as a centre back.

Looks like exactly the kind of guy we should be buying, rather than some obscure foreigner no-one has heard of. £5m would be a snip.
