Speculation persists of a possible Marko Arnautovic replacement despite club insiders stance that he will not be sold this winter.
The latest name to be reported is Andrea Belotti. The 25-year-old is a well-proven, established goalscorer, having bagged 107 goals in 269 career appearances. One report by http://www.cuoretoro.it/ in the last twenty four hours claims their well-informed source thinks the Hammers are considering a £44m for the striker.www.football-italia.net
According to http://www.football-italia.net Torino do not wish to sell Andrea Belotti in January, but if West Ham United’s offer reaches £53m then they could reconsider Sky Sport Italia also note, £53m and above could prompt Torino to give it some serious thought. Belotti has a £88m release clause in his contract and a reported £53m offer was rejected from Atletico Madrid and Milan in 2017.
Another Italian journalist called Gianluigi Longari who works for Sports Italia TV claims West Ham are preparing to test Torino’s resolve with a £40m bid.
I think we have already have an offer of £35m rejected if some other outlets are to be believed.
I can hear the chant already. “Andrea Belotti, he looks like Tony Cottee”
Definately need a top striker and soon if Arnoutovic is going or not getting selected.Evident to see at Bournemouth today that we lack firepower without him.
