The Guardian have linked West Ham with yet another midfielder on transfer deadline day.
The broadsheet claim West Ham have been asked ‘to be kept informed’ with Palace’s interest in Genoa’s Tomás Rincón.
The report says: “(Palace) remain in the market for a central midfielder, with negotiations ongoing for Genoa’s Tomás Rincón. West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland and West Ham have all been asked to be kept abreast over developments after the Italian club received an offer from Palace worth around £6.8m.”
Quite why we would make a move for yet another midfielder remains a mystery to us at ClaretandHugh, we all know Bilic likes his midfielders but we understand a right back is the main priority. We give this deadline transfer rumour the lowest rating possible.
I think that Rincon was definitely previously a target perhaps if they can move Obiang on it may create the space for him ?
We don’t need another midfielder unless we think 3-4 will get injured together,
Some of this transfer deals don’t make sense,we send a good young player out on loan to Wigan when we know he can play in both Right sided positions and now we bring in a looser that no one wants to do the same job at more money
Madness,
Richards is overrated a poser and going no where Burke is young talented and needs Premier experience,
Where does that make sense
