Hammers look to deny Liverpool a piece of history

Liverpool are unbeaten in eight Premier League games against West Ham since losing both meetings in 2015-16 (W6, D2).

The Hammers won 3-0 at Anfield in August 2015 but that is their only victory in their past 47 league games away to the current Premier League champions

The Irons have won 28 games since the two sides first played in January 1901, drawing 37 games and losing 76.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have won 28 of their past 29 top-flight matches at Anfield.

If the Hammers beat Liverpool today they will deny them the opportunity of creating a bit of history for othereise the Reds will equal their club  record of 63 home league games unbeaten.

Sadio Mane is set to make his 200th Premier League appearance and has scored in each of his last four games against West Ham, and has five goals and three assists in six Premier League matches for Liverpool versus the Hammers.

Mohamed Salah has six goals and two assists in his six top-flight games against West Ham.

West Ham are unbeaten in four top-flight matches, with all of those games coming against opponents who finished in the top seven last season.

Their only defeat in six Premier League away games was last month’s narrow 2-1 loss at Arsenal.

Bookies will give odds of 7/1 for a West Ham win, 4/1 for a draw with Liverpool 2/5 odds on favourites for a win.

You can get odds of up 33/1 for a one-nil West Ham away win or 80/1 for a Hammers 2-0 win, repeating our 2015 feat of 3-0 can earn you 150/1
