Hammers looking over shoulder

|

After

West Ham will again be looking over their shoulders at results below them today with seven teams in a position to overtake them in the table.

We of course travel to Manchester United for another tough game tomorrow but such has been our form of late that it won’t be a game to fear.

In the meantime however the teams between 11th position and 17th have a chance of points which would handicap our recent progress.

On the other hand should Chelsea beat Brighton and Leeds, unlikely though it seems, beat Liverpool at Anfield, the Irons could move into eighth place.

It’s a pretty mixed bag of games involving those below us with Everton at Fulham, Crystal Palace meeting Saints, Spurs travelling to Bournemouth, Villa to Newcastle and Leicester City at home to Manchester City.

The Hammers have lost only one of their last eight in all competitions but Erik ten Hag’s United boast one defeat in their last nine.

The match will be televised on Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League with coverage starting at 3pm.
