Hammers looks sorted for Chelsea clash

West Ham are now more than hopeful that Marko Arnautovic is set to line up against Chelsea at the weekend.

Claret and Hugh first reported that he was comfortable on Monday after reporting some pain behind his knee after coming off against Everton.

There has been no scan but the medics advised him to simply rest this week which is what they believe was needed so minor was the issue.

And it seems that is doing the trick with the London Evening Standard now confirming that hopes are high he will lead the attack against the unbeaten Blues.

Reporter Ken Dyer – who has good links to the Irons – reported: The Austrian, who also suffered from a similar problem in the defeat at Arsenal, has since been assessed by the medics, who remain optimistic he will have recovered in time for the Chelsea game.

And a club source is quoted as saying: “Arnie felt something behind the knee, so was brought off as a precaution. He seemed fine afterwards and, hopefully, he will be okay for the Chelsea game.”
