Hammers ‘make offer’ for Atalanta star

West Ham have made a bid for Atalanta star Ruslan Malinovskyi, according to a new report in Italy.

The Hammers are said to be interested in a deal to sign the attacking midfielder and are reported to have made the Ukraine international a proposal.

They have yet to send a formal bid to Atalanta, though, as the Ukraine international continues to weigh up his options.

The 29-year-old has been with the Serie A club since 2019 and has just six months left on his deal, meaning that he may be available at a cut-price fee.

Calciomercato reports that there is also interest from Spurs, but they would prefer to take the ace on loan, something which Atalanta are not entertaining at this point.

French club Marseille are also said to be sniffing around but it seems the Hammers are at the head of the queue if he is going to leave Italy in January.

  1. Hopefully not true, 29 and no pace. We have no pace and aggression in our team so definitely not a player we should be signing. I thought Moyes wanted young players with something to offer and prove. More lies from the nanager…

  2. Another attacking MF? What a joke. Full backs and a DM to replace Rice are the new priorities until Moyes goes. No point in getting a striker as Moyes wouldn’t play one

  3. We won’t sign him as he ain’t old enough!:)
