Hammers midfielder gets high praise

Mark Noble has received praise from a former team who claims makes things within the team “tick along a lot better.”

That’s fair enough but maybe Matt Jarvis’ timing is a bit off key as he makes his point about the skipper’s influence on the team.

Bought for around £9 million for the club by one Sam Allardyce, his most recent club was Norwich and it seems he has now turned pundit whilst on loan at Walsall.

Since enjoying his heyday at Wolves where he scored 19 goals in over 160 appearances Jarvis’s career has hit a downward spiral and he managed four goals in 78 games for us, one in 19 whilst on loan and permanently with the Canaries and just none in nine at Walsall.

“Mark Noble is playing every week and you can see the transformation he makes on them as a team,” said Jarvis on Football Centre (11:54, October 30th, Sky Sports News).

“He knows the club through and through so it’s a no brainer that once he is back in, the club starts to tick along a lot better.”
