The Hammers are this morning being linked with what seems an unlikely transfer target.
Calciomercato.it. is reporting that Cardiff City’s Sol Bamba is wanted by both the Hammers and Newcastle and that boss Neil Warnock could be ready to let him leave for around £4 million.
It seems unlikely given the player is 33 years old and that the major areas needing reinforcement are in midfield and at right and left back.
With Bamba being an out and out central defender, it’s hard to know where this one has come from.
The club are still hunting for the right and left backs as a matter of priority and although there have been no discussions according to our sources, a move for Victor Moses hasn’t been entirely ruled out.
Our senior source revealed by phone : “Nothing is ruled out at this stage. Moses? No talks but anything can happen as the window draws closer.”
Unless Pelle changes the system to 3 at the back (which seems highly unlikely) I can’t really see the need for Moses.
This really is a poor piece of journalism.
Your statement : “Nothing is ruled out at this stage. Moses? No talks but anything can happen as the window draws closer.
Replace moses, with any other player in the world and its exactly the same.
Sorry, i like this site, but what a waste of my screen this article was.
