Hammers to maintain position this weekend?

|

West Ham look unlikely to vault Brighton this weekend with the Seagulls at home to Bournemouth tomorrow (Sun).

Brighton have been going in fine fashion since we beat them at their place but look bankers to beat their local rivals.

Arsenal and Spurs – three points above us in the league – meet at the Emirates and with superior goal differences to us may well maintain their positions.

I am certainly not ruling that out a Hammers win mind you as despite their fine start the Merseysiders certainly look vulnerable in games and we have battled well there in recent seasons.

One point beneath us in theĀ  in the League, Aston Villa will go above us should they win at Chelsea and we fail to win whilst Forest travel to Manchester City and face are at home to Fulham today (Sat).

So on paper there would appear to be not much chance of any real movement among the top 10 clubs.
