Hammers off to Romania

|
UEFA LEagueWest Ham are off on a revenge trip against Astra Giurgiu of Romania in the UEFA Europa League play-off round.
It is the second season in a row that West Ham have been paired with Astra, who knocked us out in the third qualifying round in 2015.
Following West Ham’s 4-2 win over Domazale over two legs, Friday’s UEFA draw has pitted the recent ‘enemy.’
The draw provisionally gives the Hammers a trip to the southern Romanian city of Giurgiu for the first leg on Thursday 18th August with the return game at London Stadium on Thursday 25th August.

You just knew we would get them again. Had that feeling.

Cant take them lightly as well we know, but I still fancy us to get through this time. Would also imagine both games would now be live on BT Sport.

Hopefully we will take it more seriously this year and play a strong team, give Oxford another game at CB, hopefully we will have a left back by then and we can play Byram at right back and play Fletcher up top, they are a decent team according to the measurements they were the 3rd strongest of all the teams we could have played so in relative terms it is a hard draw. Fingers crossed we can do the business this time COYI!!!

Provisionally in Romania for the first leg.
Does that mean a potential switch.
Seeing we have Chelsea 3 days before, hardly any time to recover and train.
Would have to leave on the Wednesday.
Not the greatest bit of scheduling. I expect Brady wanted the TV Money rather than progress in the EL
