Hammers offer one year deal to City defender

ZabBacary Sagna is one of several defenders set to leave Manchester City this summer along with Gael Clichy and Pablo Zabaleta also allowed to leave.

The Daily Mirror claim Sagna has already been offered a one-year deal by West Ham while Zabaleta and Clichy have been told they are free to find new clubs.

Last week ClaretandHugh confirmed that West Ham want either Manchester City’s Pablo Zabaleta or Bacary Sagna as their permanent right back signing in the summer.

A top source previously revealed that either would be at the top of the club’s wanted list for the position should they not be offered or accept new deals in Manchester.

Thirty four -year-old Sagna is almost certain to be looking for a move back to London after his Arsenal years and 32-year-old Zabaleta too would like the chance of remaining in the Premier League and getting more regular first team football.
