Hammers offered loan option

|

West Ham could make a loan move for Monaco forward Henry Onyekuru

The Nigerian winger who can play up front has made just four appearances in Ligue 1 so far.

Monaco is reported to be willing to accept a €1.5m (£1.3m) loan fee for the remainder of the season that will include a €5.5m (£4.9m) purchase option.

Primarily a left-winger, the star has played for the likes of Galatasaray, on loan, and Anderlecht in recent seasons and has scored a total of 57 senior goals in 152 games across his various clubs.

Onyekuru was on the books at Everton between 2017 and 2019 but did not play a single game for the Merseyside club, and it seems he could well potentially return to the top flight.

Onyekuru is said to prefer a move to Galatasaray but the Turkish club have yet to make a move for him in this transfer window so  he will start listening to offers from elsewhere.
