Hammers offered Serie A man

West Ham have been offered the chance to sign Torino midfielder Sasa Lukic, according to a new report in Italy.

TuttoMercatoWeb reports that the Serie A club are in talks over a deal to bring Nikola Vlasic in on a permanent basis, but they are now reported to have offered a potential swap deal to the Irons.

That has led to Torino asking the Hammers if they would be interested in signing Lukic.

It isn’t clear if Torino would send Lukic to the Hammers in exchange for Vlasic, or if the deals would be separate.

Lukic is a Serbia international with 35 caps and has been at Torino since 2016.

The 26-year-old has some real versatility and can play in both central and defensive midfield, as well as at centre-back and in attacking midfield.

He has a contract with the Serie A side until 2024, and is valued at around £10m by Transfermarkt.
