West Ham United have formally announced a deal that sees Thilo Kehrer as an AS Monaco player – at least until the end of the season, although it is fully expected to be made permanent in the summer.
We understand that an €11 million price has been attached to the German international who has failed to make a serious impression at the Hammers and thus a deal of that nature would be not too bad at all after he joined the club for €10 million
Third placed Ligue One outfit Monaco obviously feel he is a player who can help them move to the top of the table as they now find themselves in third position. They head to Lens this weekend for a Cup clash after a midwinter break this weekend.
Kehrer has made 50 appearances since joining the Hammers from Paris Saint-Germain, in summer 2022, including one as a substitute in the UEFA Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina last June. However, the 27-year-old has made just two starts and 12 appearances this season.
