Hammers on Spurs and Bowen link

CandH Exclusive By Hughie Southon

Spurs boss Antonio Conte has added Hammers superstar Jarrod Bowen to his wanted list but has absolutely no chance of signing the player.

We have learned that Conte is a big admirer of the Hammer who took his goals tally to 18 last season and 26 since arriving at the club.

Liverpool have also been credited with an interest over the past few months but Jarrod has a contract until 2025 and the club have told us via a London Stadium source that there is absolutely no way he will be sold.

There is an unspoken rule in place at West Ham anyway that Spurs are not a club they will ever sell to these days after the bitter rivalry between the two clubs down the years.

And a Hammers source told us: “We have heard the rumours about Spurs. It is simply not going to happen. We will be negotiating  an improved deal with Jarrod. There’s no chance of him going anywhere.”

I recall Levy letting Adebayor rot in their u23s rather than sell him to West Ham. That just goes to show what type of owner he is Bowen should steer well clear of that man and club, besides what would they offer him we can’t?
