Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl knows exactly what his Saints are facing against the Hammers at St Mary’s this evening.

He made it absoluterly clear that this is  “definitely a tough draw” in the FA Cup fifth round, but added: “A home game is always good.”

However, maybe he should take note that this season the Irons have won seven times on the road, drawn just three and lost four.

That’s not a bad record to take into a game which saw us draw at St Marys last time following a game against Wolves at the weekend which saw us bounce back to something closer to our best .

Both of the sides are on a mini-unbeaten run in the league, with David Moyes’ charges undefeated in four while Saints last lost six matches ago in January, at Wolves.

We saw in the last game how important it was when we had the crowd behind us that it was a fantastic feeling when the atmosphere was great.

“It is definitely a tough draw, like every draw in the FA Cup is tough. Definitely one we are looking forward to, hopefully we can show again that we are able to progress into the next round.”

We are backing the Irons of course but believe the game could even go to extra time, although eventually we see a 1-2 win for the Hammers.
