Hammers open new contract talks with young star

The Irons have opened talks about a contract extension with the hugely exciting teenage midfield star Domingos Quina.

The 17 year old is regarded as one of the most highly skilled players within the academy and the club want him tied down as soon as possible.

The  Portuguese youngster’s current deal expires in 2019. He was a regular on the bench last season and was given a chance in the League Cup this season.

The Hammers beat Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United to his signature and Paris Saint German have since been monitoring his situation.

He is seen potentially as one of the most exciting midfielders in Europe and Academy boss Terry Westley has regularly spoken of him in glowing terms.

Both he and Declan Rice remain on the first team fringes and are  patiently their chances which may come in the next round of the League Cup against Spurs.
